Kenneth is an experienced Academic Success Coach with more than a decade of teaching and tutoring experience, helping students from elementary school through college achieve their academic goals. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering and has developed a strong reputation for delivering personalized, results-driven instruction that empowers students to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
Kenneth specializes in SHSAT and SAT preparation, including the Digital SAT (DSAT). His strategic approach combines proven test-taking techniques, individualized learning plans, and a deep understanding of standardized testing. Having significantly improved his own SAT performance through disciplined preparation, he brings valuable firsthand insight into the challenges students face and the strategies needed to overcome them. Over the years, he has helped numerous students gain admission to New York City's specialized high schools, including Stuyvesant High School and Brooklyn Technical High School.
In addition to standardized test preparation, Kenneth works extensively with English Language Learners preparing for exams such as the TOEFL and IELTS. He focuses on strengthening vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, writing, and spoken fluency through engaging, adaptive instruction tailored to each student's needs and language proficiency level.
Kenneth also provides academic support in Mathematics and English Language Arts for students in grades 3–12. By aligning instruction with state learning standards and individual academic goals, he helps students strengthen foundational skills, improve classroom performance, and build confidence as independent learners.
Known for his patient, encouraging, and student-centered teaching style, Kenneth creates a supportive learning environment where students feel motivated to take on challenges and achieve meaningful progress. His ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds has made him a trusted mentor for families seeking long-term academic growth and success.
Outside of education, Kenneth enjoys video games, calisthenics, volleyball, badminton, and exploring Japanese and Korean cuisine. His diverse interests and approachable personality help him build strong relationships with students while fostering a positive and engaging learning experience.
